check again my peloton app on my Roku 4 is now letting me switch profiles. But it may be because we purchased a bike and are now subscribing to the higher dollar accounts. This just happened like 2 days ago.

Just confirmed the ability to switch profiles has been added. Admittedly I hadn't checked the app in days since I was tired of re-entering passwords.
For what's it worth I can't confirm when or how this functionality was added. We too just activated our Peloton Bike and paid membership recently. So as "thatalexsilver" mentioned it might be related to a change in account status.
