I currently have 6 Roku TVs and a couple of boxes. The recent update has added categories to Roku's "Live TV Guide." That might be fine for many users but for myself and many others it effectively destroys any favorite channels that have been added. Yes, the favorites is a category, but it always starts at the beginning of the list. So you go through still many channels to find what you are looking for and chose. The biggest issue is reopening the TV Guide...it always reverts to ALL Channels. It Should Lock on favorites or any category that was chosen. If the guide locked on favorites, the user could effectively open the guide at the channel you are on and just continue to scroll up or down. I imagine this is worse for favorites because of the various channels that might be chosen. I still have about a hundred, and many channels I chose are bunched together, so it's not feasible to always start at the beginning.
I doubt there's any chance the guide reverts back to the way it was working, but it would be nice to create a better user friendly experience. It's great to have so many choices for so many people, but without having a keypad on the remote to at-least get you close to a channel, it's too much scrolling. Thanks For Listening 🙂
