I have an older TCL TV with Roku built in. It's been a great TV but is starting to get slow. I would love and wouldn't hesitate to buy a new Roku box if it was able to integrate better with the existing Roku TV interface. Basically looking for a system where an attached Roku box on a Roku TV can take over the app functions of the TV to provide a new upgraded experience that would breathe new life in the TV.
Could work over HDMI cec, HDMI Ethernet, or just over Wi-Fi to get the two Rokus to talk and perform handoffs as needed for certain functions.
This could be sold as well as an environmental benefit by extending the life of the TV.
