I have a Roku stick and recently purchased a second Google home device to use in conjunction with my Roku setup, only to find that setting the two speakers up in stereo creates a lot of audio-visual latency due to Bluetooth integration. My idea is that Roku should introduce an option to add visual latency to accommodate Bluetooth latency limitations. Basically the Roku would unsync audio and video signals to improve performance with bluetooth devices through the option of adding latency to video in increments of about 50ms.
I'm currently experiencing a delay of about 1 second which can completely ruin the experience of whatever I'm watching, but I believe this is a possible software solution to an issue which many people have when setting up their home theater audio, or when using Bluetooth headphones.
