Will Roku ever fix this problem?

The new line up of Roku players has been announced  with a glimmer of hope in the Roku UK press release...

Anyone have any idea whether they now allow for 50Hz switching on HD?

I wouldn't get my hopes up, Roku don't seem to think it's a problem! As long as everything works for the US audience there's no 'problem'.

50 hz is not only for Europe I would say that 60hz is less present in the world than 50hz... Will Roku ever fix this? Let's hope but I sincerely doubt it... So if there is anyone from Roku reading these lines it would be interesting to have their opinion on this topic. A software implementation would be very nice and why not an automatic detect feature on the Rokus directly....
