The Volume Leveling and Night Mode features are on the Roku Ultra streaming player are way too strong even for the loudest of content. I would like to see in future firm updates different levels of dynamic range compression, like LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH instead of just simply Volume Leveling and Night Mode.
The current compression ranges for Volume Leveling and Night Mode available now squash the action sequences so much that you can barely hear them. The voices under these settings are somewhat muffled as well.
The Roku Ultra is a great streaming box, but it would the ultimate streaming box if there were more choices under the audio options menu for dynamic range compression.
