Your kids are going to eventually go out into the world that includes a lot of differnt people. Some you agree with and some you don't. It might be nice if you are the one to share your thoughts on what will be in there every day life as an adult. They are counting on you to help then be successful along side many people they will go to school, live next to, work with.
Just a thought.
Where do you draw the line? I draw it here.
P.S. There is a difference between tolerating something and being entertained by it. The argument that parents and grandparents shouldn’t be selective about the entertainment their children watch only normalizes unnatural behavior in a kid’s mind.
Who knows, when the next big “pride” push comes along, like polyamory, perhaps you might draw the line there? Or do you have a line where you say enough is enough?
Roku is entertainment. Period. And we should have the ability, and certainly the right, as parents to block what we deem to be inappropriate.
Roku includes non-fiction and documentaries of lives that are not yours to judge and silence. Straight Pride in essence is everywhere everyday; allowing others space to live in society is a you problem.
The truth is we have rights to draw the line! People call good evil and evil good. Any type of sexual content is perverse and intolerable. As an adult it is inexcusable to watch that type of content. I do not want to be force fed that kind of poison period, let alone my kids nieces and nephew. We must have the same rights to be able to block such content. I am with many people on here but as we can see Roku has gotten to big that they are paying the piper and not caring for its costumers accept the ones who they sold out to. We have not heard a peep from them on this forum. They are suppose to care about customer feed back and folks here is your answer. Nothing!
Or, you could stop trying to control the lives of others and create your own puritanical service.
