YouTube channel suddenly is not working saying

I have been watching the YouTube channel through Roku daily and I have not downloaded/ installed anything. I have not done anything different from just watching YouTube is I have watched Netflix just a few times. I have removed all the channels I don’t watch to free up space and still unable to watch YouTube. Can someone please help me

Re: YouTube channel suddenly is not working saying

Your title seems to have been cut off.  I assume you're getting the "not enough space" message?  If a simple "System restart" found under Settings->System or Settings->System->Power doesn't fix it, try the "clear the cache" routine - using your remote, press Home 5 times, the Up arrow once, Rewind (<<) twice, and Fast Forward (>>) twice.  If you do it properly your device will seem to lock up and then restart on its own.

Re: YouTube channel suddenly is not working saying

Hi, @Lathan1108

Greetings, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We understand the issue you have encountered with the YouTube app that suddenly stopped working, and our team is here team. Kindly follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

  1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
  2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
  3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.
  4. You may also refer to this link: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support

Once this has been performed, try to access the app once more and see if you notice any improvements.

We hope this works, and keep us posted on what you find out.

Kash
