Roku stick won’t link to remote or wifi

So 2nd roku device to die recently, won’t link to anything, remote, wifi or cell. 

tried restarting reset etc. can’t get past sync remote note. remote works syncing withTV. my wife is super upset

If your Roku Streaming Stick is a model 3810/3811 or 3820/3821 (4k), then it is possible that the long-range wireless receiver in the power cable may have failed. (https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/usb-power-cable-with-long-range-wifi-receiver).  

Bad news, if this is your issue, is these cables have been out of stock for a while for the 3810/3811 and are currently unavailable for sale for the newer 3820/3821.

However, since the 3820/3821 is a newer device, likely covered by warranty. (https://support.roku.com/search/warranty)
