I have the Roku Ultra and they are still supporting that one and I can't get the app to load. Something else is going wrong.
Quick temporary workaround:
Load PBS app on your mobile device i.e. iPad.
login to your PBS account.
Make sure the mobile device is on the same wi-fi net as your Roku device.
On the mobile device (in the PBS app) go to the program you want to watch.
There should be a Air Play or Cast icon displaying.
Click on it and select that you want Program XYZ on your mobile to go to your Roku device.
Note: I tried going from my Mobile to my TV but it didn’t work…kept stopping the streaming.

Yesterday, I just purchased a new Roku 4K streaming stick. After adding the PBS app, I signed into PBS with my membership info and then successfully streamed a PBS Passport program. Tonight (Nov. 17), the PBS app won't launch. Every time I try, it just keeps taking me back the Home screen. We watch PBS more than any other streaming channel. If this problem isn't fixed quickly we are going to return this device and try a streaming device built by another supplier.
