@Pennylanea YouTube TV is great. Super reliable, quality is as good as Comcast cable if not better. Super happy with the decision. You could go Sling or Hulu Live etc. but YouTube / Google has perfected online streaming and has been doing it longer than anyone with YouTube, and they used all of that history to build this out.
They just rolled out a preview of Multi-View. 2-4 NCAA games on at once, which is how their new NFL Sunday Ticket will work when released. Guessing the multi-view will be an upcharge at some point, but for sports fans it's perfect.
Regarding Rokus to use - Roku 3 works just fine (a little slow in the Roku menus and loading apps but not too bad). Roku 3 does not have Apple AirPlay and few other features (4K etc.) but if you are on an old 1080p TV it's fine.
I don't believe Roku TV's have this issue, it's purely new Roku Ultra's (4800 anything really).
Just get an older model Roku and you will be fine. There is a Wikipedia page listing them all. Something 2 years old like 4700 or 4600 would be fine.
