Input settings stuck in endless loop

My input settings are stuck in an endless loop on my screen and it still won’t go away after using the reset button on the back of the tv. I can’t go to the settings to factory reset it because of the constant looping. Another thing is the sensor will constantly blink like you’re holding the remote button down, but I took the batteries out to see if that would solve the problem and it didn’t. I’ve only had the tv (40 inch element Roku) for about 2 years so I really don’t know what the issue is.

Re: Input settings stuck in endless loop

I'd suggest pulling the power cord for a minute or so then plugging it back in.  This should clear the set's memory cache and restart the unit.

If the problem is still present and you can't control the tv, an alternate means of doing a Factory reset is to find the reset button on the set (it could be behind a pinhole) and while the set is powered up, hold the reset button in for at least 30 seconds, no matter what you may see on the screen.

Re: Input settings stuck in endless loop

Same here! I’ve tried everything, hard reset from back of the tv with a paper clip. Unplug for a few days. Switched remotes. Nothing is working. HELP before I throw something at it and destroy this pos
