What's up with Fox Business channel? Or are programmers just making a statement?
Okay, Fox News still has issues too - but Fox Business channel will stop the show and go to Roku home suddenly. Or Fox business will stop running live and suddenly change to some previous Fox Business show that ran yesterday. Or Fox Business will be in commercials and suddenly start buffering. This is consistent and has been going on for days and weeks. I've done everything from restarting, removing and reinstalling, clearing Roku cache, bought a new Roku device, and more...
I am on Frontier fiber with very good internet and wifi.
If it's also affect Fox News, this is probably an issue with their service. They probably both use the same servers and infrastructure.
This happens on Verizon Fios as well. Very annoying. No amount of delete and reinstall corrects. It seems to occur on the return from a commerical feed. The app puts up the commercial break in progress screen then pauses to load something from yesterday or earlier in thee week. The quick fix for me is to hit the <back> arrow on the remote and then OK to force a load of the live stream. Roku should establish a standard for all apps on the platform that providers must return to the next segment after a break, commercial or outherwise
I spoke with Fox News Technical Support. They said they are aware of this and they are working on it. No estimate of if/when they would resolve it. I did ask them to update their FAQ's to share this as a known issue. Not sure if that will happen.

Is this a standalone app, or through something like YouTube TV or similar? Basically, the Fox News app has been having on-and-off problems with their Roku app for awhile. The app is developed by Fox News, so they are responsible for making it work. Roku just distributes it.
