Solving playback issues

I am so frustrated with this issue. It happens to us when we watch Fox News. I thought it was a conspiracy at first. Same topic is going on in the Hulu chat room. Now I have learned it is not Hulu but Roku. I am NOT going to waste money buying another Roku devise. Maybe I need to try Apple Fire Stick. It is very obvious to me that Roku can't fix their own issues.

@DadgumDoug @I'm starting to notice the same thing. Fox News shuts down on Hulu live tv after about 5 minutes. Local news keeps going with no issues or canceling to the home screen. What's up with this cr@p? That definitely would seem like a Hulu issue since they control the live tv. Why just that channel????

It's not a Hulu issue. I called them. However... I think Roku fixed the issue. I sleep with the TV on and I went to sleep with Fox News last night. I usually wake up to the Roku home screen a couple times a night. This morning to my surprise... Fox News was still on. Lets all hope that they figured it out.

My problem seems to be fixed. It hasn't bounced from Hulu to Roku home screen in a over a week. Now I am having issues with my recordings not deleting on Hulu. But... that is a Hulu issue. But if anyone has any insight on WHY... and HOW can I get the shows to delete I would appreciate it. I was on the phone with Hulu for an hour yesterday... and finally just hung up. They put idiots on the phones that have no clue what they are doing. Not to mention the fact that I just couldn't understand him. Anyway... thanks for letting me rant. I will call Hulu again later and hopefully I will get someone that knows what they are doing and I can understand. Have a great 4th everyone. Happy Birthday America!!!

Came home yesterday and ALL of the Hulu recordings were deleted. We only lost a couple that we didn't watch but we just went to On Demand. I guess someone got hold of my message about switching to YouTube and got busy... hahaha. And as far as the Roku issue. It stopped bouncing from Hulu to Roku home page. All is good in my house. Now... I just hope the rest of you get your issues fixed.
