Same issue here. It works on our newer Roku sticks but not our 5 year old TCL Roku tv.
same issue app opens for a second then kicks back to Home Screen I’ve done all the troubleshooting and app works on other devices

Same here. Looks like it might've updated today and something went wrong? I've had no luck with any combinations or resets/redownloads/update checks
Same thing happened to me just now.
The Disney plus app just stopped working on my 55in 4K TCL Roku Smart TV. I was playing a movie on it just fine and then all of a sudden the app closed and won't reopen. I have tried multiple different troubleshooting steps listed below to no avail. Can someone please provide a solution to this problem?
Troubleshooting steps done:
1. removed and reinstalled the app
2. removed the app, restarted the tv, then reinstalled the app
3. checked internet connection (I am able to do everything else on my internet, including streaming on other services and online gaming)
4. Checked the Disney Plus streaming service for outage. I can stream it no problem from any other device in my home.
5. disconnected the tv from the WiFi, forgot the network, power cycled the tv, reconnected to the WiFi and tried the app again.
6. checked for updates to the app and the tv. (everything up to date)
7. did a complete factory reset on my tv. (took forever to get everything back to where it was, only recommend this option if you are at your last resort)
Does anyone have any other suggestions that I haven't thought of or done?
If it's any consolation, I have several devices, but this problem seems to be isolated to the Roku Streaming Stick + and Roku TVs. I plugged in my Roku Express 4K, and it loads Disney Plus. I'm not sure if that helps with the trouble shooting on this.
I have removed the Streaming Stick to see if leaving it offline for a few minutes whether it will allow access to Disney Plus.
Disney+ won’t load on my Roku Ultra or Roku 4k+. I’ve contacted Disney and they had me going in circles with checking for updates, restarting my Rokus, unplugging, uninstalling, resetting the internet, etc….they said that nobody else is having this issue which is obviously not the case since this thread exists. After having my chat cut off and them then trying to make me go through the whole thing again with another agent and then that agent telling me she will give me a call sometime in the next 24 hours to file a claim ticket, I said yeah sure and I’m just hoping the app either updates or fixes itself.
Follow up. It appears to be the Channel build number. When I removed the Roku Streaming Stick + from power for about 5 minutes...it appears that it reverted back to build 2024101500. Either that, or Roku forced a rollback on the newest version of the Disney Plus app.

If it helps, unplug your Roku device from power for about 5 minutes. When I plugged it back in, I don't know if it forced an update...or whether it flushed the cache...but mine started working. Hopefully you have the same experience.
