Roku setup

Hi!

Wanting to use old Roku Express for audio streaming from Apple mobile devices. 

I've hooked up the Roku analog audio outputs to my stereo and it works for streaming movies, but when I select the Roku as an Airplay device on my iPhone to stream music there's no sound from the Roku analog outs. However, I do get sound from the Roku HDMI output. 

Pulling my hair out.

Any advice?

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

To use AirPlay, your compatible Roku device must be running Roku OS 9.4 or higher. Roku 2 is not supported with Airplay. Click on this link to go into further detail: How do I use AirPlay and HomeKit with my Roku® streaming
