The number one thing to try with any Roku device powered via USB is to use the supplied power adapter. If you're not going to take any advice given here then why are you here?
I will test that shortly. I was just pointing out that so many others were offered the same advise and not a single one has expressed success. Hence the skepticism.
Don't get me wrong, it may not help, but it only takes a minute to try. And, it's rare when someone posts that a suggestion actually worked; they only post when it didn't.
@RokuDanny-Rhow do I pm you?
Thanks for the inquiry.

Followed the setup but cannot get anything. Any HDMI port I use comes back as "No Signal".. Have tried all HDMI ports. Still nothing. a flashing blue light is on the streaming player. Need help before I throw it out the door.
Thanks for the post.
Have you tried switching out the HDMI cable used to connect your Roku device?
For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried connecting your Roku device to another TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Danny
I have the same problem. My Roku will work fine for a while and then go balck for a few seconds, come on for less than a minute, go out again, on and off. If I unplug it for a while it's ok for an hour or more. But if I leave it plugged in all the time it is useless when I want to use it.
The unit is out in the open, on top of an LG 55" TV. The Roku is model 3920X.
Thanks. This was a waste of money at this point.
BTW you said you wanted a direct private message but without any contact information this is the best I can do.
Thanks for the post.
This seems like a possible connectivity issue. Have you tried using another HDMI port on your TV, as well as trying to switch out the HDMI cable used to connect the Roku device?
Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
Danny
Yes we’ve tried that and moving to another tv located closer to the router.
