Roku Streaming Stick 4K and using antenna for local channels

Purchased a new TCL Google TV from Best Buy. We have been using a couple Roku TVs for several years and want to stay with the Roku format as we are old and not good with technical stuff and have another Roku TV we use. The salesman said we could get a better quality TV by going with the TCL and adding a Roku stick.

Set up the TCL TV and then added the Roku Streaming Stick 4K. Everything seems to work other than when in the Roku format, we cannot get the antenna channels. When following directions in various locations that say Home-Settings - TV Input - Antenna TV...I do not get an option for TV Input and no Antenna icon.

Will the Streaming Stick 4K not work with an antenna? If it will?...how do I get to the TV Input option?

Thanks.

Re: Roku Streaming Stick 4K and using antenna for local channels

No Roku device other that an actual TV has the options you're seeing that refer to an antenna.  You could get a streaming service that provides your local channels ($$$), but you'd access them through some app (e.g., YoutubeTV, Hulu, etc.).  If you want them for free, connect an antenna to your TV and use its interface to access them.
