Roku Express will not go past the update and restart.It restarts and then nothing

I have the Roku Express.New out of the box.I follow the steps and when it searches for updates and restarts,I get nothing.I turn it off and back on it does the same thing like it never installed an update minutes before.The progress reaches 100% and it restarts and ...nothing but blank screen

 I have fixed the issue.The HDMI cable that came with the Express wouldn't show video after the update.I replaced it with a high-speed cable and the video appeared instantly.

   I'm still having the same issue but I can hear sounds after the reboot like it has restarted but there is no video.The video is fine during initial setup until it updates and reboots.Then the audio is there but no video
