Turned on Roku and tv shows “no signal” had this issue back in March of this year. Tried many troubleshooting routes but nothing worked and then randomly it started working again.
Checked all HDMI connections, switched to different port on tv. Plugged into wall outlet and has power. I’ve tried restarting my router. Nothing seems to work.
Hi @Rust,
Greetings and welcome to the Roku Community!
We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention and would be more than glad to assist you and resolve the issue you're having. Have you tried connecting your Roku streaming device to a different HDMI port of your TV? In addition, have you tried performing a factory resetting your Roku device? To do this, locate the Reset button, and your Roku device is powered on, press and hold the button firmly for about 10 seconds. When the factory reset is complete, an indicator light or status LED will blink rapidly on most Roku devices.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.
All the best,

So you do see the bouncing Roku logo (which is sent as 720p), but then it disappears? If so, it may be auto-setting or was hard-set to some resolution your TV doesn't support. Have you tried a factory reset?
So, mine says Roku and makes the loading sound. It says the 720 and then goes blank saying no input found. When I press and hold the rest button nothing happens. I have held it down for close to 30 seconds. If I pull the power and plug it back in. I get the same Roku load screen. If I press the reset button again on the back of the express 4k+ the load screen goes away but the device does not reset.
Any other ideas?

I have tried two different HDMI ports on the same TV. I then tried it on another TV with the same results. When I attempt a factory reset nothing happens. I have held down the reset bottom for 30 seconds. It simply refuses to reset.
Hi @Rust,
Thanks for updating us here in the Roku Community!
We're happy to help you with your problem with your Roku Express 4K+. How are you powering your device? We highly suggest that you plug the USB cable into an adapter directly to the wall outlet and not at the back of the TV or on a power strip to ensure it receives sufficient power. You can try a different USB cable or a different power adapter if it does not work. Also, try switching your input to HDMI 1, 2, and 3.
Let us know if this works for you.
All the best,
Eunice
I have been powering the device through a power strip. I have tried powering it through the TV. As well as through the wall in two different rooms and through two different power strips. On two different TV's. I have plugged it into 5 different HDMI ports and used 2 different HDMI cables.
The device is getting power and shows to be powered on. When you plug it in. It does the dancing Roku for about a minute. Then the screen goes black. The device was working fine as of July 28th, 2023. We went out of town came back on the Aug. 6th, 2023, and it was no longer working. Nothing changed with how the device was connected or setup. We just came home and pressed the power button, and it did the load screen and gave us the issue.
As I stated before. When I press the reset button. Nothing happens. I can hold it down for a minute and nothing. I have even tried unplugging the device and plugging it back in and while the load screen is up pressing the reset button to see if that would work. What that does is ends the load screen immediately and nothing else happens.
I took one of my other 5 Rokus and hooked it up in the room having issues and it worked right away. So, I know the issue is not with the TV. It is with the device. I just cannot get it to accept a reset.
It's likely damaged somehow. Could have been a voltage spike or similar that zapped something.
Did you try a different power supply? TV's typically don't have enough power on their USB to run a Roku. The supply is a standard USB power supply and most any phone charger should work.
Having the same problem. My program froze. I tried everything above. It isn't the TV. Reset button doesn't work. Tried restarting my Router, Changing HDMI ports. Nothing works. No power surges. Just Dead.
