If I multiple TV’s in a room and put a streaming stick on each of them, will the remote only operate the streaming stick that it came with? I don’t want to change all TV’s at once to the same channel.
Roku Streaming Sticks can only be controlled by WiFi remotes. These are paired to the individual Rokus they are to control, so you'll have one separate remote for each Roku Streaming Stick, and each remote will only control that one Roku.
The TV controls on each remote (power toggle, volume, and mute toggle), however, control the TV by infrared (IR). There are many different sets of IR commands in use for TVs, so each remote must be set up to use the correct set of IR commands for the TV. But being IR, if you have multiple TVs that respond to the same set of IR commands, they all will respond to those commands from a single remote. If you run into this problem, post back as there MAY be a way to deal with it, depending on the capabilities of the TVs involved.
