I have a Roku Ultra that is from either 2019 or 2020.
This has been happening for ages! Netflix will pause every at least 6 seconds. Makes it completely unwatchable. Hulu will pause once during every show I watch, unless I watch multiple episodes of the same show in a row, then it's only during the first episode. If I switch to a different show, it will pause. I am home alone often, so no one else is using the internet but me. Only these apps, nothing else (max, peacock, disney) None of our other non Roku devices do this. I have-
- Contacted all three Hulu, Netflix and Roku. No one could help
- Restarted apps
- Deleted the apps
- Unplugged the Roku
- Completely wiped the Roku itself
- Repeatedly made sure the Roku is updated
- Repeatedly checked my internet connection (wifi says "excellent")
- Restarted my internet connection
- Even stopped using it entirely for a while.
Do I need a new Roku Device? If I do, are the cheaper options the same thing?
