In my experience, once you login at a TV provider, you are automatically bounced back to the channel site which tells you all is well. I think there could be a coding error on one of the two websites or you might have a browser extension which is blocking some cookies, javascript, etc. I haven't done one of these in a while but as I recall, they can be pretty sensitive to browser settings and extensions. Usually default settings with a well-known browser without extensions work fine, but I typically don't browse that way.
