Loss of some antenna channels and inaccurate descriptors of remaining antenna channels after update.
After factory reset, I declined connection to router. I then scanned for antenna channels with good results showing 33 channels with accurate descriptions. I then connected to my router and the Roku tv then installed updates resulting in the loss of 9 channels and inaccurate descriptors of remaining channels. I would request that Roku remove the most recent update.
Yup, I think it's the Live TV meta that is screwing up some of the channel and program descriptions. The Live TV channels used to have channel number and with the new software updates there are no more channel numbers for the Live TV channels. On my two Roku TVs only one channel has the wrong channel identification and program description and since it is the same issue on two identical Roku TVs I it has something to do with the software.
Hi @regularone @EdT,
Thank you for keeping us posted, and welcome to the Roku Community!
We understand you are having a problem with your antenna channels. We're pleased to help.
You may be able to receive free “over-the-air” TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations, depending on where you live, using an HDTV antenna. The placement of your HDTV antenna can affect which TV stations you can receive and the quality of the signal. You can refer to the webpage Antenna Web for more information on accessing broadcast TV in your area.
We hope this helps.
Best regards,
John
