I have a Bose Sound touch 300 soundbar which I need so I can connect my Bose Comfort 35 headphones to get better clarity from the TV. Can the Roku unit be connected to this soundbar? If so, how?

Hi @CharlesPatridge,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We appreciate you for reaching out about this. I assume you have a Roku TV or a Roku streaming device connected via HDMI cable to your TV, right?
Here are a few things to take note of.
- Roku TVs can only be connected or paired with Roku wireless speakers, so non-Roku soundbars are not compatible with the system.
- To highlight, a Bluetooth device can be connected directly to a Roku Plus Series TV. If you have any other Roku TV system, you will need to pair Roku Wireless Speakers or a Roku TV Wireless Soundbar to add Bluetooth capability to your TV.
For Roku streaming players, you can only use the Bluetooth option, but it only limits Roku streaming devices that include the list below.
Compatible Roku streaming devices
The following Roku streaming devices have Bluetooth capability:
- Roku Streambar SE
- Roku Streambar
- Roku Streambar Pro
- Roku Smart Soundbar
- Roku Ultra (models 4800 and 4802)
- Roku Ultra LT (model 4801)
- Roku Plus Series TV
- Roku Pro Series TV
We've got some information that you can check.
- How to pair your Bluetooth device - Roku Support
- How to resolve issues connecting a Bluetooth device to your Roku device
- How to use Bluetooth headphones for Headphone Mode on your Roku streaming device
We hope this answers your questions.
Thanks,
