Cable box not pulling in, Roku overrides it

We just got Roku and have a local cable box with a sound bar. The sound bar doesn’t work when the Roku is on and I understand that. The problem is when we hooked it up, the tv will not recognize the cable box anymore. It is only pulling in the Roku. I have unplugged and tried going to hdmi 1, and none of them are pulling in the cable box. This only happened after we installed the Roku last week. What do we need to do?

How is the cable box connected to the TV?  Have you used the TV's remote Input or Source button to cycle through the TV's input to try to find the cable box?
