4640x not working with new Samsung TV 65S90CD

I bought a new TV (https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/oled-tvs/65-class-s90cd-oled-4k-smart-tv-202...

My Roku Ultra 4640x doesn't work with the TV. I get a message that I need to power on the unit or a black screen. Any ideas as to how to get it to work??

Hi @jpgalvin,

A warm welcome here at the Roku Community!

To fully assess the issue you've been having, can you send us a photo of the screen you've been getting when setting up your device? Also, may we know how you are powering your Roku device?

I get a black screen (I assume you don't need a photo of that) or an error message from the TV. I do not get any Roku error screens or any Roku screens at all.

The Roku 4640x is plugged into an outlet and powered on all the time. I have tried cycling the power to see if that would solve the problem but it did not.

Hi @jpgalvin,

Thank you for keeping us posted about this issue that you're experiencing! Have you checked the HDMI port at the back of your TV? Additionally, you will need to change the source or input on your TV remote in order to view the Roku homepage.

Please keep us posted on how it goes.

Thanks,

Anjelie

Yes, I've checked the port. And I've changed the source for the input. And I turned the TV on.
