New speakers not connecting

Just bought brand new wireless roku speakers for my roku tv. I’ve done everything trying to connect these for the last 4 hours. 
My speakers won’t stop repeating the instructions back to back.. so much so that it doesn’t even finish the sentence it was saying before it starts a new one. 
They are plugged in and in range of my tv. I’ve tried to pair them and it’s just not working!! 
Did I just waste my money or are these speakers just messed up?

I have the exact same problem, good WIFI, Internet connection.  Followed all instructions numerous times.  It starts to pair and then never finishes.

I solved the problem! I didn’t want to do it because it would log me out of everything but I had to factory reset my roku and my speakers paired instantly ! I hope it works for you!
