I discovered today there are ads playing on one of my DP channels. A Little Ceasars commercial. I did not monetize it. I checked my json and did not see any coding I added to place ad breaks. And, I do not have a link for an ad server. Does Roku automatically place ads on DP channels for their own revenue?
No answer, but lucky you.
I can't get Roku to fix the monetization issues bug I have been reporting for months now.
It would be nice if I was monetizing it. I guess someone is getting a little change from it but not me lol
One of our clients has the same issue [if it is an issue!!]. For the past few weeks they have seen a lot of ads playing on their channel. Pre-roll and mid-rolls ads are playing [ by group of 4 ads].
Their channel has not been monetized. No ad server - No ads tags. They asked us to investigate the issue. We were about to address this problem with ROKU team when we saw your posting. We then realize that our client is not alone.
Thank you for bringing it up.

Hi,
Sorry for my delay.
Have you been able to find out any information?
I have had an Aveeno commercial, a Little Ceasar's Pizza and an ad advertising a film that had foul language in the ad. I have several channels and this has begun on my ministry channel. Looks bad to have ads that don't fit the audience and will reflect on me,
I checked coding again and monetization is set to no.
Thank you.
And, just now a Neutrogena ad when I checked it. Going to keep a log to help ROKU peeps figure it out. I've sent them a note asking for help. Today is the first time I've seen the Neutrogena ad.
Another ad started showing up ...an ad from Neutrogena.
