Support Request: AWS CloudFront errors lead to buffering?
This is a request for help from Roku support staff. Please reference my related post. I'm experiencing inconsistent buffering on my channel. The content is housed in AWS S3 using CloudFront. The logging makes it appear that there is some sort of issue when the video is returned from the CloudFront 'edge'. For example:
The first set of logs is from a user of my channel. The second set is from me. I don't quite understand how a 2XX status code returned from the 'edge' location results in an 'Error' in the log. I think this is reflected to the user as a request for video that results in further buffering. I'm wondering if there is some seting in my JSON file I am violating, or, some setting in AWS I need to apply to decrease the likelihood of buffering on the Roku device. An explanation of how Roku retrieves the video content would be helpful.
