Direct Publisher Limits ?

What's are the limits of Direct Publisher JSON, how many items, how many categories it supports.  I've heard about a limit of 40 items, it seems very low.  Anybody knows ?  Thanks.

Categories are limited to 15.
I don't know the actual video limits, but mine has just over 400 videos so far and no problems.
