I have been testing the software and believe the feed must be a json feed!
The software parse's the JSON content and builds a tree of ContentNodes to populate the GridView.
@Charles012 ferdiworks is correct. You must specify the URL of your JSON feed file. The feed file will contain any content you wish to play.
Can the feed link be a m3u8?
No it needs to be a json feed file!
Can a m3u8 file be converted?
Yes!
What is an m3u8 file format?
.m3u8 is used for HLS Video and Livcestreaming!
Whats my options with an m3u8 feed?
1) If you would liker to cvonvert the feed to json feed it can be done then used in this software and/or many more!
2) Pay a developer to do what needs to be done to developoer an SDK channerl
If you only have an M3U8 (HLS) link, then you can use the "Live" SDK template in Instant TV Channel. There's even a free version!
Alpha Version 3 was just released and I tested it and it fully works!
Send me your link and I can let you know if I can do the SDK for you!

I'm looking for someone who has some experience converting a DP channel into an SDK one as my channel is no longer viewable on Roku as a direct publisher. Any and all help would be hugely appreciated.
Frank, Instant TV Channel has a Direct Publisher import feature that works with most DP feeds. This quickly converts a DP feed into a complete SDK channel which can optionally be further customized. You can then publish the new SDK channel over top of the old DP channel in your own Roku Developer account. If you have 10 or less videos in your DP channel there's even a FREE version.
Frank
I have the SDK package and can rebuild your feed!
