I liked it. And wow, being able to have those kind of graphic effects is miles above what I'm doing in BrightScript! But a lot of the principles still apply. For example, in my game I've implemented a directional screen shake that nudges in the opposite direction from where the enemy is, like you got hit "that way" a bit, feels very satisfying to me.

I think we can do most of those effects in BS, or at least some type of approximation ...its just a lot of work. I've been pretty lazy with fx in my roku stuff, but I think I probably need to step up a bit more.
