Help with code on how to play a live channel from ustream using the following:

http://iphone-streaming.ustream.tv/ustr ... ylist.m3u8

Do I change the Stream format to say "hls"?

What else needs to be changed to make it play using the above url?

I'm assuming you don't really mean the above URL.. since that one needs to change the xxxxxs into the specific code for the stream. But specifying what code you are using would help give an indication on what needed to be changed on the code. Changing to HLS for <streamFormat> is important.

If you have an iphone, try plugging that URL into your safari browser and see if it plays on your phone, if it does, then a reasonable assumption is it probably will play on Roku. If you have a mac, you can try plugging it into Quicktime.

Correct, no xxxx's..

And okay to the iphone try with safari. Makes sense.
