Something has changed with Roku 4.
getCountRcvBuf() always returns 0 bytes.

I've verified that this fails on Roku 4 only (not 7.0 in general). I've submitted a bug report.

Any idea when this is going to be fixed ?
My Roku4 users are complaining.

It should be fixed in the next release, but I couldn't say exactly when that will be, even if I knew.

When is this going to get updated ?
The current version of my Roku4 is 7.0 build 8792 dated 10/31
I was able to upgrade my Roku3 and Roku Stick to 7.0 build 9044 today.

What is the hold up on the Roku 4 ? Need this fixed !

Roku finally updated their system for Roku4. Fixed in 7.0 8863
If you don’t have it yet, you can manually check in the system update on the Roku
