avahi/bonjour?
I don't think that I see avahi-type resolution enabled, is there some way to enable it, RFE? switch? It would be appealing to be able to browse/specify local systems/services by name. I am sure the underlying linux kernel can support it, as I have seen it on Mac OSX and Solaris. I think (from a forum search) that some other Roku products support it even.
Thanks in advance,
Tommy

Re: avahi/bonjour?
Tommy,
You are correct that there is no bonjour, avahi-type resolution enabled. As mentioned earlier, we are looking into UPnP but we do not currently have any solution available.

Re: avahi/bonjour?
I saw the UPnP discussion. Thanks for clarifying that avahi isn't implemented. I'd like to see it, but maybe UPnP will provide the name resolution I am looking for. I guess I just used bonjour/avahi due to it being included in linux/solaris/mac, the three OS's I use 🙂
