What website hosts are you using?  What do you recommend?  I was wondering if GoDaddy would be a good one.

it depends on what you need @KDStout . 

the hosting of your website is the most important part of it. like the video hosting for your tv channel. 

GoDaddy is a good domain name provider , the hosting part is not quite the best and the support is .... well ...

if you want to build or have a WordPress based site you will want a WordPress Optimized hosting , recommended to have CDN ( professional level if possible ) , if you are not that experienced you might want to choose a hosting with 24/7 live support - so they can help you when they need it ,   so on 

i think what i want to say is  , there's no "the best"  it is like the "best for me now" hosting. 

look for what you know you need  / or might need in the future.

        I had some experience in developing websites.  I do get what you mean by not finding a website provider that is the "best" for your needs and wants.  I do think it is interesting that you like using WordPress.

@KDStout  with WP the only limits you have are 1 your imagination  , 2 your hosting ( that is why i put together a custom hosting for me and my clients - so we can do whatever we want / need / dream about 🙂 ) 

you can do in WP whatever you want / dream about ....  you will find a theme or a plugin to do exactly what you want 🙂
