WMV DRM (New to Roku dev)
I am trying to play a WMV file which is DRM encrypted. The license is freely available over the internet. If I try to play through Windows Media Player on PC it downloads the license and plays it back without any problem.
I modified the simplevideoplayer package and changed the URL to download this DRM file. When I try to play I am getting athe following error
"play failed: The format is not supported or the media is corrupt"
Is there something wrong I am doing or does Roku not support WMV DRM in developer mode and if so how to enable it. I saw in the Developer Guide document that WMDRM 10 is supported
Thanks in advance for any insight into this.
<I am re-posting this from the other forum. Got a reply that WMDRM 10 is not supported. Looking for any other options for play DRM content>

Re: WMV DRM (New to Roku dev)
I thought that in the docs it mentions that we can't use DRM'd media?

Re: WMV DRM (New to Roku dev)
The docs incorrectly state the WMDRM 10 is supported in the SDK. It isn't. If you content has to be WMDRM protected, then it's simply not going to be possible to play it through the Roku SDK. It might help if you can elaborate on the need to protect th content and the requirements and why SSL isn't sufficient.
