Re: Suggest an ad server company?

@fredfulsome, thanks for sharing.  I fear that 25M may be 25 million per month.  If so, that's out of reach for me and probably most small developers.  Keep us posted on what you find.  My experience is similar to yours -  most of these companies don't even have the courtesy to respond.

Re: Suggest an ad server company?

It seems most want to cater to the large companies. It's a shame because multiple small channels have contributed to building the platform one viewer at a time before the big companies jumped on the band wagon.

I am checking into something I came across. I'll share it with you as soon as I check it out further and then you can also help me to check it and if it works for us, perhaps we will have a way to run ads. I hope it's for real.

@newchannel Before expending effort and money on an ad server, you may want to read my response to the topic Does Roku place ads on Direct Publisher channels?

Re: Suggest an ad server company?

Okay, thank you. I read your post/ Thank you for providing it.

I have the adbreak in my json. I had an ad server company I was using previously. I placed their vast tag to run their ads.

I have been looking for another company to do the same but not found one. Another option I guess is to setup an ad server but I have not researched that yet to see what is required to get that going.

Re: Suggest an ad server company?

Hi,

I thought about that. I'm not familiar with how to do it and will have to go through the learning curve but willing. I'll do some research on it. If you know of any good links for me to reference, I'd appreciate.

Thank you.

Re: Suggest an ad server company?

I just came across them the other week and have been checking into their service. Looks reasonable. Glad to know you have been using them. Confirms that they appear to be a good company to work with.

Thank you.

If I can set up the ad server, where do I get the ads?

I missed something in the thread citing the company you discovered. Also, do you are anyone else have the contact info?

Hi,

I'm checking into a company called Ad Speed. Let me know what you think.

Re: Suggest an ad server company?

Hi AaronMSpelling,

Is adspeed still going good? I have an idea for a new channel and as it progresses thinking about running my own ads on it once it has viewers etc. Perhaps adspeed will be a good option to run my own ad server. Just thought I would check back with you.

Thank you for your input.
