Our goal:
1. Have a free channel that serves as a limited trial of all of our video and audio offerings.
2. Give viewers some choice in how they subscribe. They can: a) subscribe to the entire channel and ALL of its content, or b) if they choose, subscribe a la carte to only the audio content, for example, but be able to come back at a later date and add the video content for an upgrade fee.
3. In addition to the above, offer pay-per-view events with or without having to have a subscription.
4. Would like to be able to do this all as an in-app purchase and/or upgrade, without the viewer having to go to their computer to subscribe, get codes, etc.
Is anyone doing any form of this? We're already approved for billing, but I couldn't determine from the ROKUDEV website how to approach this. Is this too complicated for ROKU? I'm hoping it won't require an outside programmer, and is something we can do from existing source code provided by ROKU.
