Does IP Camera Basic or Pro have audio, meaning that if the IP camera has audio feed that it will show the video and play the audio on the Roku?

Thanks for your work on this.

No, sound doesn't work, but I'm trying to find a way to make it work.

So @ioan - i notice the channel got updated from (wrong) Pro to Basic version - is this the new version or they just corrected the prior mistake?

I also notice that all my prior entries vanished - the Pro and Basic apps don't share the same registry settings / sign key? Seems to me good idea they should. In addition, the Basic version does not show the annoying apology popup.

The new versions include all the fixes, I submitted them on Sunday night.
The pro and basic doesn't share the registry, but they share the key 🙂 It's on my to-do for the channels to share the registry, but I can't push a version yet, the roku testing team told me to not send more than an update a month... so I'll have to wait before I submit another update.

Not to send more than one update per month?  That is odd.  Your pro version generates money for Roku right?  I would think if you had added a feature to improve the product Roku would want that feature accessible ASAP to your users - thus providing more value to the product and increasing sales.  Did they say why they don't want more revenue?  If it's a free channel then they just don't want to do the extra work reviewing it as there is no incentive (aside from PR) to carry the channel.

Yeah, I agree...
I asked "is there a limit on how often I can send updates to my channel"? Here is what I got yesterday (I deleted the name to not get someone in trouble):

Hi Ioan,

Thank you for your submissions. I have approved them for you since there was an accident in switching that channels. They should be the correct now.

Regarding the question with the bug fixes, we suggest that you submit a new version once a month with all the fixes for that month.

Hope this helps!

Thank you,

This is fixed now, it will be in next month's update! 🙂

"Suggest" is not exactly a mandate. It makes general sense not to spam them with new version every day. But regardless how you read it, in case there is emergency bugfix, feel free to submit and stress the reason for doing it
