Submission process timeline?

What is the process on the Roku side and length of time from the time that a channel is submitted to be included in the channel store? The documentation says 5 days after it is accepted, but no mention of how long it takes before it is accepted.

Also, would it be ok for me to post the private channel codes here so that developers can check them out while they are waiting for approval for inclusion in the channel store?

Roku would need to approve your content.
Then they would require your channel to be beta tested.
Once tested and all issues are clear then they will publish your channel.

I think that's how it goes.

Re: Submission process timeline?

But there is nothing preventing you from posting the code for others to test with. Smiley LOL

Re: Submission process timeline?

What was all the stuff about a private channel code? Maybe there is a way to share some sort of "code" to subscribe to a private channel?

All apps that are submitted to roku are given a channel code. You can choose to publish to the channel store, or keep the channel private. It's important for porn and corporate/educational video.
