Slideshow connection reset (SIGPIPE)

I don't know when this started but when I run a slideshow on the latest build. When the Roku starts loading a photo, I get 4 or 5 connection resets or SIGPIPEs. This causes the jpg image load to start over, 4 or 5 times. We actually transfer about 150K to 180K of the image each try. Then on the 6th try the photo finally loads to completion. This is occurring on almost every image.

Re: Slideshow connection reset (SIGPIPE)

We will issue several range requests to read the images. Your web server must support range requests. I'm not seeing a behavior difference between v2.8 and v2.7.

I wouldn't expect 4 to 5 connection resets on each image download, and I'm not seeing it in my environment.

Re: Slideshow connection reset (SIGPIPE)

I beg to differ but I do not see any partial requests on images !

This is a trace from my server trying to transfer 1 jpg image to the Roku.

The html parameters from Roku are prefaced by arg[#] without a range request.
And you will see "send failed errno 32 - Broken pipe" three times before it transferred.
