Hi,

Does the Roku support H.264 with HIGH profile and level 4.0 ?

I transcoded an mp4 file with Elgato Turbo.264 HD using High profile and level 4.0 and then used ffmpeg to convert it back to MpegTS. The ffmpeg was complaining about a missing option and I added this option: -vbsf h264_mp4toannexb to successfully convert the mp4 file to mpegts.

I'm unable to play the TS files on the Roku. I get all garbage on the screen. Audio is fine. It plays perfectly on my iPAD and Mac OSX laptop.

What best H.264 profile and level does the Roku HD supports?

We do support H.264 with HIGH profile level 4.0.

If you want to private message me a link to your Elgato output and the ffmpeg command you used to convert it to mpetTS, I'll see if I can duplicate your results.
