Please use the Code button when you paste in code on the forums, otherwise your code loses its formatting and it becomes very hard to read, and well meaning people won't be able to help you without eyestrain.
My guess is the issue is actually in your video playback screen with what it is returning, although it looks like you have accidentally pasted in some of the if/then function from your video screen into your springboard screen function as well, so you might want to clean that up.
