PACKAGE Source code security!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I have made an application that i am thinking of giving the package to the customer.
Because i dont want to manage the channel under my account.
Is it secure, or they can brake it and get the source code?
I dont want to show the source code

Re: PACKAGE Source code security!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe someone with more authoritative opinion will respond, but as far as I know there is no way to decompile / reverse engineer a Roku channel pkg file.
An issue is these users would need to create their own private Roku channel since a pkg file can't be directly loaded onto a Roku, yeah?

Yes sure. The customers are service providors, they will create a developper account then they will allow their customers to install it.
