boost seems to be broken in macports, but I have a workaroun

I figured it would be usefull to have a tool that is not dependant on boost so here's an equivalent to webtool that will work on ANY platform that
supports python and ffmpeg!!!!!!! BTW before you run this be sure you have ffmpeg installed and in your path.
Biftool is broken in macports and possibly broken elsewhere too. We actually need the source to bifttol so we can recompile it, but it appears not be opensource.

so use the work around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That won't run on my Commodore 64. You mean I would have to go out and buy a modern computer just to create bif files? I demand satisfaction! 😉

I have a Ruby version that works on any platform.

It will build bifs for a directory recursively, if you look at the bif_builder.rb file, the BifBuilder class can be used in any script to create a bif file.
