No osx love for biftool? Why not?

Why no osx love for biftool? Sure doesn't seem like it would take much to provide one, especially given the linux version...

You could just run a linux distro.

VirtualBox and Linux. Both free and would be a good workaround.

So, install a virtual machine and a whole separate OS install to run one simple binary that could easily be recompiled to run on osx? Although it would provide a solution if there were no other alternative, I'd really like to prod the Roku team to provide an osx binary so it can be done with a minimum of monkeying around.

Or just rewrite it in python 🙂 The format is documented.

I wrote one in python that runs on OSX and Linux, you can get it from here (note there is a 1-off error in line 118, remove the +1)
