Newbie Q: Simple Signup Sample

I've been studying the Simple Sign Up Sample app. 

Questions: 


  • Is it signing me up for Roku or for my app in particular?

  • Is it possible to do in-app purchases using the code from the Simple Sign Up Sample, or, subscriptions only?
