Roku Developer Program

All of a sudden, by Roku channel, that was working all this time is not loading. I am frustrated, because I cannot find a reason why this is happening.

Some of the facts are:

• All the other Roku channels load fine. It is just mine.


• I created it with the SDK and Brightscript.


• My channel always loaded successfully for the past 12 months. It is now happening all of a sudden. I see the splash screen and then it just goes back to the channel icons.


• It is happening on all of my Rokus.


• I removed it and re-added it without luck.


• The XML is loading fine and there are no XML errors when I load it in my web browser.

Please help.

Side-load the channel and run the debugger to find out why it is crashing.

The same way you loaded it onto your Roku when you first developed it.

If you really have no clue how to do that, I'm wondering how you made the channel in the first place. Maybe you copied an example channel and only changed the urls or a couple things, never side-loaded it, and voila, it worked!

12 months ago? total guess, but if there is  backend have your ssl certs expired?

You'll need ZIP file of your channel, not the encrypted .pkg.
That way you will be able to see any errors by telnetting to port 8086
